60.Set The World On Fire - Black Veil Brides
![]() Tracklist: 1.New Religion 2.Set The World On Fire 3.Fallen Angels 4.Love Isn't Always Fair 5.God Bless You 6.Rebel Love Song 7.Saviour 8.The Legacy 9.Die For You 10.Ritual 11.Youth & Whisky 12.Smoke And Mirrors Genre: Glam Metal Well, I probably will get bashed for this.Wait, take that back, I WILL get bashed for this, and do I care? Absolutely, positively NOT.I could care less what anybody else says, this is a absolute fantastic album. When I first heard "Knives And Pens" I almost immediately hated the band.I thought that they were just another crappy metalcore act, but this album changed my views completely.Instantly I here their sound has shifted to my favorite genre that I once thought was almost gone, glam metal. This is definitely a new take on the glam metal genre, something that's not flat out copying the previous generation, rather is taking the sound of 80's rock and bringing into a new generation. To me they sound like W.A.S.P. meets Motley Crue with a newer sound.Songs like "Rebel Love Song" and "Die For You" wouldn't be expected to be recorded in the 80's, but are undoubtedly still glam metal.Highlights include the uplifting title-track, signature anthem "Fallen Angels", and my favorite, the perfect example of 80's glam with a new sound "The Legacy". Standout Track: "The Legacy" http://grooveshark.com/s/The+Legacy/3Y0ffN?src=5

It's like what I said, this truly is NEW glam metal, it has the sound and puts a modern spin on it.At first I didn't think so, but with repeated listens it became clear to me that this definitely glam metal.Songs that have it the most are "Rebel Love Song", "Fallen Angels", "Set The World On Fire", "Die For You", and the chorus of "The Legacy".The image is definitely glam though.Wretched is good to, and I still see the glam sound on that one as much as it is on this one.Wikipedia labels this, Rebels, and Wretched as glam metal, and also uses glam metal as the bands main genre. They sound a lot like W.A.S.P. in my opinion.

BVB isn't glam at all though. They are a wanna be AFI. So they are like punk core junior.

This. I mean BVB leans more towards almost punk influence as in AFI than glam.
I was using AFI as a reference and one does not simply hate AFI.

AFI<BvB, at least BvB is a glam metal band, I don't really see a punk influence in them at all.If you go to any review on this album it says their a glam metal band. And they made number 10 on the top 10 new generation glam bands.

59.Faster Pussycat - Faster Pussycat
![]() Tracklist: 1.Don't Change That Song 2.Bathroom Wall 3.No Room For Emotion 4.Cathouse 5.Babylon 6.Smash Alley 7.Shooting You Down 8.City Has No Heart 9.Ship Rolls In 10.Bottle In Front Of Me Genre: Sleaze Rock/Glam Metal Faster Pussycat was one of the first sleaze rock bands to come into existence. They came around the same time Guns N' Roses did, and well, as we all know GnR got to stardom first, which led to having Faster Pussycat's incredible debut go unknown.Whoever likes GnR will like Faster Pussycat, I'm sure of it, especially this album. This easily contends for one of the best debut albums of all-time.It's classic glam anthems have a real "Rock N' Roll" feel to it, and the sleazy vocals of Taime Downe and the killer guitar riffs of Greg Steele and Brent Muscat are outstanding. The highlights are the opener "Don't Change That Song", the true L.A. feeling rocker "City Has No Heart", and my favorite, the sleaze anthem "Cathouse".This band is one of the most underrated bands of all time, and this album needs to be listened to by all rock fans. Standout Track: "Cathouse" http://grooveshark.com/s/Cathouse/30iWPB?src=5

Everytime that Babylon song comes on Boneyard I cringe a little. Not a fan.
