Gorillaz were bigger than Blur the way Hybrid Theory is bigger than In Utero.

Yeah I'm not saying which one is more critically acclaimed. But Blur, to me, was always more connected with more hardcore music fans, but Gorillaz also have the popularity and the critical acclaim ever since Plastic Beach.

Plastic Beach didn't even have a radio hit and Gorillaz headlined Coachella and a million other huge music fests that year.

Yeah, that's fair. Gorillaz are alright, I just don't see them being a big destination band people come thousands of miles to see whereas I think Blur, especially with the very long breakup and difficulty of seeing them outside the UK, is a smart move on the festival's part.

Yeah, for sure. Blur will make a killing when they release a new record.

Friday: Modest Mouse, Local Natives, Japandroids, Aesop Rock, Jello Biafra, TNGHT, Earl Sweatshirt

Saturday: Sigur Ros, Descendents, Dropkick Murphys, Danny Brown, Trash Talk, Action Bronson,

Sunday: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Wu-Tang, Tame Impala, Gaslight Anthem, Ghost, Vampire Weekend, Dinosaur Jr.

This would be really cool to go to, but it ain't happening.
