**UPDATE FROM VEKTOR**: "Details to come but we've received word that David's case was dropped completely. We are very relieved!"

According to Municipal Waste's Facebook page:

"This is Dave from Vektor. He got locked up for throwing a beer on a christian protester at our gig last night. If you see this man buy him a beer. He seems to have lost one."

Hope nothing serious happens to him as a result of this. I still want to see Vektor and Canada's border is extremely tough on anyone with a record...

We are still missing details, as none of the 3 of us actually saw what happened and haven't been able to communicate with him whatsoever since. Thanks for your amusing support, nothing remotely like this has ever happened to him (or us) so we're kind of dizzy. Pretty absurd, but not the end of the world or anything. We probably shouldn't say much more yet, and we have yet to see if or how this will affect things. It is unfortunate, but what's done is done and hopefully the consequences are as mild as the (alleged) act.

It's only a misdemeanor. He'll be fine. I wonder how the whole flight back home thing works for him though.

Also, this makes me like Vektor even more now!

I thought the same. If he had thrown a bottle then yeah,but he just wet them pretty much. Im guessing a cop was already there and he saw it.

Well if he did it in front of a cop then he deserves to be arrested. That would just be stupid!

I don't know. I don't think the cops would really care if he only threw a beer at someone. I'm getting the feeling that something else happened in the meantime.

...or that some cop/the person overreacted.

But in all seriousness, I'm sure David will come out of this fine, even if the band loses some cash over it. David's a pretty laidback guy, I wouldn't have pegged him as the kind of dude who would throw a beer at anyone, even if they were being a loud intolerant idiot.
