haha I don't read that shit but maybe its the fact that TBDM is within my top 3 favorite bands ever and the band that single handedly got me into death metal that I say this.

Remember y'all, I did say in my opinion so you can all unpluck your thongs outta your asses from the shock.

haha I started listening to TBDM in 2009, the same year I REALLY got into metal.

Also the other band that got me into any type of death metal was Children Of Bodom.

Decibel is the only relevant mainstream metal publication and IMO they have great coverage of extreme music; touching on popular releases and doing a good job of scratching the surface of the underground also.

I also love Black Dahlia and next to At the Gates, some of the best melodic death metal ever. But they aren't the be all and end all of death metal. Not by a longshot.

haha ever time I remember seeing a cover of Decibel it seems like either Slipknot or Slayer is on the cover

Never said TBDM are the be all end all either, just said their my favorite.

I think you're confusing Decibel with Revolver.

The only time Slipknot has been on a Decibel cover was in '05 alongside Lamb of God and Shadows Fall for a story about the 'new wave of american heavy metal'.
