Ghost - Infestissumam
I know this is a little late but what did everyone think of this album? I think that I'm a bigger fan of the first album but this one is really enjoyable as well. Body and Blood is hypnotically catchy. I don't really mind most of the overblown symphonic elements except in a few places. The female in Jigolo Har Megiddo bugs me for some reason. Ghuleh is a cool song and sounds pretty different for them. I do wish a few more songs were a bit more riff-heavy, Secular Haze is the only one that really sounds a lot like the first record to me.
Thoughts?

You don't think Depth Of Satan's Eyes sounds like something from the first album? That's my favorite song on the album.
I've only listened to it a few times and it's a pretty solid effort but I don't think it's better than the first one. Maybe with more listens that may change but i'm not sure about that. I really liked the first one a lot.

That's actually probably the song I've listened to least off the album. I'll have to go back and listen again.

Might be in the minority, but I actually enjoy it more than I did the 1st album.
