AC the year before I think was about 35k the first night and 25-30k the second.
The last time they played Philly the venue held over 21,000 and was pretty much packed.

Truthfully they need to do a US tour, they haven't since 2009 and haven't done a summer tour since 2003

To put in perspective Rock on the Range had 105,000 over 3 days


That's with headliners that aren't nearly as big as Metallica

headliners that arent nearly as big, but huge lineups of many more prominent bands that probably result in a better value and justification to the average rock fan.

also, not only is columbus a bigger city than detroit, its in the dead center of a shitton of other big cities
