Sunn 0))) -- Bellingham, Wa -- December 15th, 2012

Well, since Vancouver is pretty close to the border and the fact that

Sunn 0))), BLACK BREATH, Loincloth and Dead In The Dirt we're playing a mear 25 mins drive from my house but just across the border. I decided I should witness the almost religious experience that was going to happen.

Loincloth opened, they're an intrumental doomy band on Southern Lord, they tinkered with a few different time signatures and what not. Pretty heavy too!

Dead In The Dirt was more punk grindy style. The first track reminded me of the Nails - Unsilent Death album in a very good way! This three piece tore it up. Alot of the songs were less then two minutes long.

Black Breath was up next. The local hardcore/metal/punk natives took the venue by storm and never let go. Playing a HUGE chunk of their newist record "Sentenced To Life" and a couple off "Heavy Breathing".

Two guitar players with a pretty awesome attack I must say! Everything makes you want to bang your head right off.

and now for the legendary SUNN 0)))!!!!

Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson arrived on stage with Robe's on and a massive think cloud of fog beaming out from the machine (which happened ALL set)

they also had someone playing Moog for them and ATILLA (yes from mayhem) coming out also in a Robe also wearing a mask until the final moments of the set and doing some chanting/vocals for the last 30 minutes or so. It was a pretty sweet added touch to the atmosphere of it all as the fog just POURED into the venue.

Other then that, Greg and Stephen were doing the usual low hum drone riffs for aprox an hour. My ENTIRE body was shaking when some of those notes were hit. Holy fuck!! Totally worth the 20$ I paid

Also picked up a Black Breath - Sentenced To Life t-shirt for 10$ as well.

Sorry, I dont have sets for any of the openers.

I was thinking the same thing, but wouldn't a setlist for SUNN 0))) read:
1. D powercord
2. G powercord
3. E powercord
4. A powercord
(Encore)
5. B powercord

(And I like the band, I'm just joking around)

Must have been a different band because when I saw Sunn it was horrible. It was so foggy I couldn't see anyone on stage so for all I know no one was even up there.
