this. although, they only headlined an outdoor stage, there were still 3 or so bands inside after them . but yeah, their live show is phenominal, saying there is no hype is just ridiculous.

Remember - this is coming from a MA fan - this ain't Europe. Whitechapel as much as I hate to say it would headline over MA. Sad but true.

There may be some hype but that last album followed by Trey's comments about how they were gonna play most of it live derailed the MA hype train.

No. You think the be all end all is always recent album sales, but if that's true then why isn't Whitechapel on the main stage at Mayhem?

Morbid Angel definitely have pull. They'd pull in because they are fucking legendary and they would pull in most of the crowd that Whitechapel would pull in, whereas I'm pretty sure most Morbid Angel fans would distance themselves FAR from Whitechapel.
