My friend was nearly asleep during Slayer last year. When you've been out in blistering heat and sun all day and a band you don't like comes on, it's not hard to fall asleep...

I almost managed sleep (maybe I caught a few Z's) at Ozzfest in Devore. How?

I attended Ozzfest almost in its entirety on a Thursday, got a bit of sleep, but then drove up to Marysville for Slayer/Judas Priest, and then drove the entire from one end of California to the other for Ozzfest in LA on Satuday morning. Sleeping at a metal show is very possible when you're tired. It's become all rhythm and you just start to filter it out.

I could kinda see how that's possible when you're dead tired. I know how that feels like, everything becomes a blur (I feel asleep on the way home from Long Beach listening to the new Bruce on my headphones) But fuck......you'd have to be dead tired to do it at a show

Well my Dad did the imposible....he took me to a Pantera show when I was younger, he doesnt like metal....and he fell asleep during Pantera...then again, he had worked 72 hours straight!!
