As far as metal I extremely dislike Hatebreed, Devil Wears Prada, Volbeat, Dragonforce and Mutiny Within. Black Veil Brides and everyone of their ilk might also be one of the worst things to exist.

If we're talking non-metal then Carly Simon, Taylor Swift, Nickelback, Carly Simon, 98% of country music and Carly Simon.

Why hate on Mutiny Within? I understand that people got annoyed in 2010 when they were on every single metal tour but they're not even together anymore, if that really annoyed you you should be over it by now.

Also, whats with all the Volbeat hate? I've heard that they get played on the radio in other states (never heard them on fm over here) but are they really that bad? I think they're a fun live band.

This is a list that will change so much the next time I turn on the radio, but I really can't stand Green Day, Taylor Swift, Adele, Lady Gaga, Devildriver and Maroon 5. Some aren't bands, whatever, they're the death of music.

Green Day just are sad to me. They started out annoying but now they're old men trying to recapture that youthful energy. After spending the last decade trying to convince people "we're not those young punks anymore, take us serious". Just sad. I usually feel a little sorry for people when they have drug problems (usually) but when Billie Joe had his breakdown last month I really cared less than I do about the Octomom.

Taylor Swift is just so corporate and phony. Every song is what every girl daydreams about. "He was a boy, I was a girl, he played football, we held hands". Deep. At first it was fine but now it's old.

Adele and Lady Gaga just make me shudder.

Devildriver because for some reason I don't like Dez Falafala.

And Maroon 5 just fucking suck.

It's a lot easier to narrow down my ten FAVORITE bands than my ten least favorite.

I was just listing bands that I generally hate their music and Mutiny Within falls under that category. I only saw them once and it was god awful. They just always come to mind when I think of bands I don't like.

I've never heard Volbeat on the radio, although I never listen to the radio. My main problem with Volbeat is the vocals. Can't stand 'em, which sucks because their concept sounds so promising on paper.

Somewhere in the ballpark of 1,000,000 albums are released a year and most of you probably hear somewhere around 20 of them so please don't pretend you have anything resembling a valid opinion about your least favorite bands. You haven't heard your least favorite band, because they're opening the bill at a four-band local metalcore show in Hamilton, Ontario.

Alternative rock/Metal/Hardrock, not in order:

1) Cradle of filth
2) Korn
3) Channel zero
4) Volbeat
5) Guns & roses current edition
6) Sepultura current edition
7) Nickelback
8) Nirvana. Only because there are alternative rock bands, before & after, that are MUCH better. (Pixies, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden...)

Plus: deathcore, dubcore, unproduced black metal & porngrind.

When it comes to "other genres": Lady Gaga, rnb, jazz, boybands, Dutch/French/German "schlagermusic", Bieber, etc... But I have a huge taste in music, I always say "everything from Adele to Morbid Angel".
