Aftershock
Motorhead

Ok, so with repeat listens, yea this album has some cracks. For starters it's too long and some of the lyrics are kind of dumb. (Keep Your Powder Dry?)

Its not as good as The World Is Yours (or Inferno), but it's definitely better than Motorizer.

Delerium

I haven't heard this album in years (probably not since 1999) and my wife got it for me for Christmas. It's still pretty good. Some of the sound effects are pretty dated (I think the album came out in 1994) but the vocals are still beautiful.

I agree that certain lyrics are repetitive, but musically it's fantastic. Philip Campbell is really the most underrated guitarist in the world, and dare I say it, better than Eddie.

I find it to be way better than The World Is Yours but not as good as Motorizer. I don't like Inferno as much as most people I think.

A Matter of Life and Death
Iron Maiden

Yep, still the greatest album ever.

Yeah, Aftershock is far better than The World Is Yours. And definitely isn't too long.

Also, lyrics? On a Motorhead record? Please.

As for Phil, yes this is his best stuff for a very, very long time. But underrated? Nah. He's still sloppy as fuck live. Better than Eddie though.

Yeah, I know that the lyrics aren't that important and it only "bothers" me on a few songs like "Keep Your Powder Dry". I always found Phil ok live btw

Must finally buy Bastards.

It's not that they're not important, lyrics are always important, it's that on a Motorhead record they're always shit. It's like saying the lyrics on a Slayer record are a bit angry.
