New GWAR album tentatively titled 'Mad at the Sun'
In an interview with Metal Kaos, Oderus dropped the working album title and had this to say about what to expect from the album.

The album title has been changed to 'Battilus Maximus'. They performed a new song on AXS tv last night and apparently they revealed the cover art and said it should be out this fall.
I can't find anything from the show right now but it should pop up online soon.

When I first heard the "Mad at the Sun" title I thought of this:
![]() If that was the title, how awesome would it have been if they used that image and photoshopped the sun over the cloud and changed the headline?

Here's the live footage of "Bloodbath", "Madness at the Core of Time", and "They Swallowed the Sun" that was shown on tv. I expected the new stuff would sound different but i'm surprised with the direction they're taking. Bloodbath and Madness sound like they could have been on We Kill Everything. They Swallowed the Sun is more like the last 5 albums.
