The new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds record, Push the Sky Away, is incredible... it's actually the first Nick Cave record I've heard, so I have no idea how this stacks up in the context of their whole oeuvre, but either way this is one of the greatest things I've ever heard.

New Portal is pretty good. It's a bit too short though and ends rather anti-climactically. But at the same time, it's a good ending for the album. The length is my biggest complaint. I like the moody outro on Awryeon.

I just listened to the new Jayke Orvis album Bless This Mess. I thought it would be AOTY since I loved his last album so much. The first half of the album was kind of a repeat of songs I've already heard. Even though they weren't recorded before, I wasn't really into it until the last half, which is really good!

OK, the new Tribulation album "The Formulas of Death" is fucking amazing stuff. Leaps and bounds better than their debut, they tightened the songwriting so much. I also love the slight prog coating and outside influences.
