Devin Towsend joined by Jed Simon, covers SYL

Jed came out at the Retinal Circus show and covered "Detox" and "Love?". So for the first time in over 6 years Devin has played Strapping Young Lad songs.

All is right with the world.

He said on twitter he is never ever going to play any SYL again.

Until he crumbles to fan pressure.

Oh lord....

He's not reforming SYL ever again. This was a one time deal unless The Retinal Circus is wanted in other countries, which was talked about.

If he was going to crumble from fan pressure, it would have happened already. He gets asked about SYL every single day he is out in public.

He wanted to stop touring because he only toured while on drugs, once he realized he can tour sober he doesn't want to stop. Yes you can say that about SYL as well, but it's not just that SYL brings up bad memories for Devin, he's not into that kind of music anymore.

SYL fans like myself should be thankful he ever did this once.
