From I'm reading elsewhere... this isn't a case of married for 20 years, husband dies, widow re-marries two years later. Reads like they got married, then separated with the wife still managing husband's music career. Otherwise, living separate lives. It may not be a straight up case of "two years omg so soon."

Honestly, not sure of details... personally, I don't care and won't be researching. Only posting as a heads up before people start making shit up.

I thought it was common knowledge that Wendy and Ronnie split years ago? They were still very close friends and business partners though. This shouldn't even be news.

At first, I thought it was really fucked up of her to do so soon after Dio's death. I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of people like me who assumed they were still married since she kept his last name. Wikipedia even says:

Dio remained married to Gaxiola until his death.

I know not to trust that site 100%, but most info is usually pretty accurate. Now that I know they were split for so long, it makes me kind of sick that she's just mooching off of his legacy. There was no need for another best of collection. Anyways, I hope she's happy with her decision.
