Ecstatic Trance, A Life Once Lost’s first album in five years, opens with a bang courtesy of the track “Something Awful” — and now you can experience that bang for yourself.


As the album’s title would suggest, a recurring musical theme on the album is that the music, upon first listen, often seems on the simpler side of things, with parts repeating over and over again, creating something of a — you guessed it — trance. But you’ll wanna keep revisiting it because the hooks are strong. And the more you listen, the more you’ll discover — this is just quite just rote repetition so much as it’s hypnotism. Seriously.
