Dethklok/Machine Head/All That Remains/TBDM US tour

the LOG/Dethklok tour sounded great on paper. But when headline sets are cut cause its a "co-headline" bill, then its not so much fun.

Haven't seen Gojira since November of 2008. Need to fix ASAP

cant imagine either LOG or dethklok's set lengths are going to be drastically longer going from co-headlining a 3 band package to outright headlining 4

i figured 70ish each for the co-headline, id be surprised if either did more than 80 on the new tours. 40ish each for MH and ATR. 20ish for BDM.

Log usually do hour and 15 to 20 on their own headliners. Co headline woulda probably made that shit like an hour. So 3 to 4 song difference. For me im the guy that wants more more.

Haven't seen Dethklok yet so dont know how long they play but LoG are good at playin the long sets.

Dethklok doesnt play long(from what I remember) because they throw in cartoon stuff too

usually they have 2 or 3 openers anyway

I would agree if I enjoyed LOG's Sacrement, Wrath, and Resolution. And Gojira is awesome who I haven't seen yet. But I dig this package, really enjoy MH's new stuff and TBDM is one of the best live bands out there. ATR is okay, would be much better if they just stuck to Pre Overcome stuff.

Anyhow kick ass tour package!

This is a pretty solid lineup, would definitely attend if it hits Toronto.

Great exposure for the guys in TBDM as well.

Especially after headlining 2011's Summer Slaughter tour and being billed over Nile earlier this year.

Actually all these bands are headliners. Hopefully we get 40+ min opening sets.
