He is.
Alan Cassidy is a good friend of mine. i met him back in February when he was a part of Abigail Williams. and talked to him almost for a full hour after the show about drums and music. He is very damn good and TBDM should be no real challenge for him.

Hopefully Shannon Lucas isn't permanently out of the band, That would be a huge blow to Black Dahlia. He's easily the best drummer they have ever had.

He was also voted within the top 15 drummers in current metal, or something like that.

Mega-pissed about the whole MH/Disney conflict, considering that it only affects the date on the tour that I'm attending. This makes three times I've been prevented from seeing MH. First was in Mayhem 08, where they played at the same time as Dragonforce (cut me some slack, I hadn't heard of them at the time). Then I had to miss them at Mayhem 11 since I was backstage meeting Megadeth (which I totally don't regret, but still). Now this is happening, and for a stupid reason. At least I saw them with Zombie/Manson a week and a half ago, but I was in a far-away seat and their set was only four songs. Not even counting how MH never brings their headlining tours to Florida. Also, their Orlando date with Zombie/Manson was cancelled due to weather, which means that Orlando went from having two MH shows to none.
I know I'm complaining a lot, but I just feel like every chance I've had to 'truly' see them has been robbed from me. Hopefully they'll come to Orlando (or Tampa) on their next headliner.

Robb has a hernia and he is having emergency surgery. They are slated to rejoin the tour in Portland. So yeah, maybe TBDM and ATR will have a couple extra songs or just start later.
