Yea, I ripped it off of an ESPN article I read. Wish I could claim that as an original.

So conference championships are today; my thoughts:
NFC: (2) 49ers @ (1) Falcons Nice to see the Falcons finally get over the playoff hump in the Smith/Ryan era in one of the best playoff games I've seen along with the crushing Ravens/Broncos game. However the Falcons will need to play a lot better for the whole 60 minutes to defeat the 49ers; SF brings much like Seattle did in a mobile QB with a good arm, a great RB in Gore and a crushing defense. What SF has that Seattle didn't is experience. The 49ers were one muffed punt away in last year's NFC championship game from a possible Super Bowl. That has got to sting for a year and I feel like the 49ers are not going to miss again this year. I doubted the switch from Alex Smith to Colin Kaepernick but Jim Harbaugh has proved me wrong, more so with the destruction of the Green Bay defense last week. I see a close game but I think the 49ers experience will help them punch their ticket to New Orleans 49ers 28, Falcons 20 AFC: (4) Ravens @ (2) Patriots Everything on paper points to the Pats winning with Brady and Belichick in their 7th AFC title game in 12 seasons (Holy shit). But I am going to take the Ravens? Why? Nothing to do with paper but what I saw last week when they came into Denver as huge underdogs and ripped our hearts out. They traded body punches with us and kept standing. They took advantage of the horrible play our safety made to tie the game and get to overtime. I watched as my Broncos faded and the Ravens rose up. I can't explain it in a stats sense but their playoff run has be magical. Ray Lewis has been a tackling machine despite playing with one functioning arm and being beaten by TE's. My brain says the Patriots will win. My guts tell me the Ravens will continue the dream and go to New Orleans Ravens 27, Patriots 23 So I see a Harbaugh bowl which imo is the most interesting match up of the possible 4 choices |

no one here seems TOO upset over the seahawks losing... at least we had a team that was actually good and fun to watch during the season

I want 49'ers vs. Patriots, but I'm expecting Ravens vs. Falcons.
