I agree, many people disliked Mastodon, but I though they were good. The second show wasn't that successful, since I couldn't hear the second guitar and the vocals. One of the guitarists actually winked at me, so that was cool as hell, too

BTW the song is "Island" not "Iceland" That's so cool they did a cover of Emerald

The band introduced it as Iceland, though. It was something like "This is a song about your nordic neighbour called ICELAND!"

Other cool introduction: "This song is about crushing and destroying. It's called Crusher Destroyer!" Stupid yet funny.
