That's an awesome set. I wonder if Stu's voice was able to hold up well for the whole thing? It's not like the guy takes it easy with his vocals.

Hot damn! That must've been an incredible show. Only the trilogy would've made it better.

Such a long set, yet so many great songs missing...

Goddamnit why couldn't they do this for the whole tour and have less shitty support bands no one cared about in the first place?

Only real problem I see (outside of being jealous of such a long set) is the lack of Glorious Burden. Has Stu done any other GB songs outside of Declaration Day? That's only thing that keeps this from being perfect to me.

No, he hasn't. Personally, I don't find it to be that strong of an album anyway. A few good songs, but that's it IMO. But then, I can't stand Tim Owens, so...
They also ignored Crucible completely except for a taped intro. I don't think Crucible is a strong album either, but one song would've been nice. Jon had said that all albums would be represented, but I figured he meant more equally. Guess not. Eh, whatever, three songs from Horror Show is nice. |

That really speaks to how strong their discography is. Nobody should complain about this set at all.
Quote:
I don't know about them playing this set for a whole tour though. We're talking at least a two and a half hour set every night. As good of a singer as Stu is, he might not be able to pull that off every night considering how vocally demanding Iced Earth's material is. This DVD will be awesome

27 songs every night? I don't know. I'm not saying it's impossible, but that's a lot to ask, no?
