I just watched Aerosmith's new video, What Have Been Love, (it was terrible) because this chick that I went to high school with/hung out with the same people was in the video and I'm pretty sure her whole thing in the video was to be hitting on the chick next to her. She had way more screen time than I thought from what my friends said, so good for her and shit.

They added Decrepit Crescendo, In the Name of Gore, Open the Abscess and possibly one or two more During Open the Abscess, right before the outro, they busted into a cover of Seek & Destroy (~3 minutes of it) before finishing off Open the Abscess. Highlight of the show for me! It pretty much sounded like their Trapped Under Ice cover.
2 days later and I'm still sore as hell from that show. Such a great time, all the bands fucking destroyed.

Because of an incident where my friend thought the pit was still going at last night's Lamb of God show, she unintentionally wound up punching me in the face and as a result, annihilated my glasses.

...Now begins the process of getting new ones.

I never care for all of the facebook reposting about sports or debates quarrels but man, is seeing "remember, remember the 5th of November" every other post getting annoying.

Had a band photoshoot scheduled for last night.... drove to my guitarists house (where it was taking place, which is a 61 mile round trip BTW) and RIGHT as I pulled into the driveway my singer called saying we have to reschedule the shoot

So I drove home blasting Napalm Death and watched Spiderman: The Animated Series and forgot about the new Walking Dead episode

Yesterday sucked
(except for the Mexican food and the opportunity to play with my moms kittens )

Some website, that is usually good about concerts, advertised that Rudimentary Peni were playing a show in LA tonight. I almost lost my shit cause I've never heard of them playing any shows ever, let alone a random show in LA. I frantically looked up info to find out some local band put out a tribute album to RP and it was some record release show for a tribute to RP....

I hate when this kind of shit happens. The thing I hate most is when I get concert alerts and it turns out to be some shitty metal club night where whichever dick is running the thing has entered it as a concert on Last.fm or Ents24.com or something and listed the bands they intend to spin songs by as artists appearing.
