Leaving for UVA tomorrow. I'm going to miss being a part of the Richmond Metal/Punk scene day-to-day life in addition to some close friends, but I'm very excited to have a change in scenery, gain some freedom, and start a new chapter of my life.

Just went to see Russians Circles tonight to find out they wanted no press, media, or photos at the show tonight. and I couldn't afford to get in.

I gues it's ok. I'm home now about to work on my proper Knotfest review for Rock Thiz Magazine, and getting ready for interviews with Kataklysm, Origin and Fleshgod Apocalypse tomorrow night.

At Summer Slaughter right now. I'm not really a fan of like 90% of the bands playing, but Metal Assault was requested to cover it by Cannibal Corpse so I'm here haha. They're playing the most awesome songs on the PA though, tons of Exodus, Accept, Maiden and a few others. War Is My Shepherd and Impaler by Exodus were just played back to back!

Also Exhumed tore shit up.

I wish I could've gone man. Marching Band is making me miss sooo many good shows. This, Slaughter by the Water, Yob/Acid King, Red Fang. Shit sucks.

Yeah man, but school stuff comes first always. You'll always have plenty of shows to go to, and San Jose has a pretty good metalcore/deathcore scene if you're into that. Also I just met Matt Harvey and he is one of the single coolest people I've ever met. Dude radiates awesome.
