My cat is having kidney failure so the vets recommend we put her down. Let's see if I cry. It's been a good run. 17 years

Doing exactly that was mentioned in a novel I'm reading as a sign of a person who used to be somebody but is now stuck in a run-of-the-mill life... just sayin'

I'm so sorry.

When my dog got sick a while back and we had to put him dog I cried for days straight. It was the worst thing I ever had to deal with.

I'm sorry man.

I remember having to do that with my cat who lived to be 19. He was born on St. Patrick's Day and was 5 months and 2 days older than me. so He was alive my whole life at that point. It's definitely a hard thing to go through.

I'm really sorry to hear that

My cat had kidney failure and we had to put him down a couple of weeks ago. He managed to survive with it for 2 or so years, but he was only 6 when he got ill.
