You know, that's a song that I have no problems admitting that I liked. The Red Hot Chili Peppers song they sampled was boring. It's just...everything else...

My guitarist sent me a few rough edit/demo tracks and it's sounding so heavy! I noticed that my toms soudned HUGE, I asked how much editing he did on them and he said he didn't really touch them at all.... dang! I don't remember them sounding so thunderous Can't wait for this to get released! Our singer just sent his vocal tracks so all that's left is the rest of the bass then it's all steady from there

Saw Extinction of Mankind in a basement last nite. That place was destroyed by the end. They ruled at MDF and were just as awesome last night. One of my top 3 at MDF, will post my top 10 soon. Will prpb get shit for it. Almost all soundstage bands. Easier for me to get into it while indoors in a smaller venue.

Yeah I found that all the bands at Soundstage/Ram's Head sounded much better... well, obviously compared to outdoors. I'm gonna be seeing Extinction of Mankind on Saturday. I didn't see them at MDF so I'm looking forward to this.

Anyway, my top 10 for MDF:

1. The Ruins of Beverast
2. Bölzer
3. Asphyx
4. Necros Christos
5. Death Toll 80k
6. God Macabre
7. Birdflesh
8. Incantation (I've seen them previous times before but they sounded exceptionally good here)
9. Pseudogod
10. Entrails

Honorable mentions to Pungent Stench, Dropdead, Diocletian, Impaled, and Cripple Bastards.

My top 12 for MDF (cause I couldn't pick just 10):

1. Death Toll 80k
2. Extinction of Mankind
3. Noothgrush
4. Capitalist Casualties
5. Dropdead
6. Unholy Grave
7. Excruciating Terror
8. Windhand
9. Stapled Shut
10. Entrails
11. Sick/Tired
12. ACxDC

I don't even know if this is the right order. All of these bands were so good. Anyof the top 6 could be my favorite, but I couldn't believe how amazing Death Toll 80k were.

I got confirmation that I start a new job Monday, I am very happy about it. The last few months have been somewhat frustrating, but somehow I got through it.
I also killed a gopher that had been tearing up the yard, what a day!
