Just got back home from the hospital for the surgery on my right arm. Glad that it is over!

Let the healing begin.

Got a phone call from my ex-coworkers son last night saying that my he had another heart attack (his third one) and was in the hospital, doctors said he probably won't make it...

Poor guy, he was only in his late 40s/early 50s, really wish he would have stuck with his healthy living ways after his last heart attack

Discovering new (non-metal) bands. Always a fun activity.

Does anyone use one of those soundbars with their TV set-up?

I'm looking for something to beef up the sound from my TV/blu ray/Xbox etc. but don't have room from a proper set of speakers.

Seems to be plenty on the market, and not too expensive either, but they're all fucking huge. Why do they need to be over 3 feet long? They're wider than my damn TV.

So are they any good? Should I be looking at something else?
