Yeah, I saw that. Even if he means they were playing to the most people that stage can accommodate, 20,000 people watching Anvil on the FOURTH stage while Doro was headlining the main stage? No, I don't think so.

"Lokeren festival Belgium...Killer show the band is on steady fire..die hards all filling out the front in full force, joined with new fans witnessing the smashing....thx all you pounders...I shall now cool off with burning a cannon of the best....."

Apparently there was more smashing today. And he's always "burning cannons", apparently.

I am at the Veld music festival this weekend. I am not sure of attendance numbers but it is way more packed than I have ever seen the park for other bands or festivals.

Today is deadmau5, Steve Angello, Dada Life, etc.

Right now there's a middle-aged dad and a straight-cut, thirty-something amateur folk singer, both of whom I work with, discussing rap music.

It's both bizarre and hilarious.

Before the show, people don't do that. I just want the money back because I can't use the ticket anymore. Concert venues really need to start allowing returns.
Ah yes, I see what you mean.

And it would be nice if venues would allow for returns. Especially to shows that have tickets that go on sale 9 months or more in advance. It's quite difficult to plan that far in advance and anything could come up on the day of the show.

And the award for most pretentious new album explanation goes to...

"I simply felt the need to delve deep inside of me and run riot in the infinite expanse of the audio cosmos. The result is a friction of mercilessly mechanical, heartless sound collages, combined with my typical melancholy-melodious style. A whole number of souls happen to dwell in my breast, which is why experimentation and the development of my musical existence simply belong together. It’s of secondary importance to me whether this is clever in business terms. To me, it’s all about creating optimum varieties of sound signals which go through the ear straight into the heart. Some call it a vocation. Hallelujah."

"Yes, uh, I'll have a big helping of the pretentious crap."
