The Metalsetlists Top 100 Metal Albums of the 90s!

Here are the entry rules:

Minimum of 20, maximum of 100.

Albums will be ranked accordingly:

In a list of 65 entries:

1. = 65 points
2. = 64 points
3. = 63 points

etc. etc.

For the borderline bands, if the band is on metal-archives, its allowed. If they aren't, its not.
Examples of what's allowed: Faith No More, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains
Examples of what's not allowed: Slipknot, Korn, System of a Down, Tool

Lists can be submitted by posting here or pm'ing me

Due date: November 26th.

That's dumb.

We're conforming to that, why? Four of the biggest metal bands ever, right there.

Sure those bands aren't the tr00est, but they did make a huge mark in the metal scene at the time, and got many of us who are in our 20's into a lot of different kinds of bands, and just metal in general! I'm not a fan of Slipknot anymore, but I won't say that their self titled album wasn't my first "extreme" metal album at the time, I had heard nothing like that before!

Anyway, just my 2 cents, I probably wouldn't put it in my top 20 sicne I have to go back and listen and see what came out in the 90s to see what would be on my list

If the s/t from System isn't one of the best metal albums of the 90s this list can't be valid.

This. Seriously, Metal Archives is a bullshit site and we shouldn't be using them as a guideline for this list.

Helmet is somehow on metal archives. Those other bands are probably more metal than Helmet (my favorite band but I wouldn't call them metal). Whatever you say metal archives.
