Taproot -- Warren, MI -- August 4th, 2012

I left the Trespass America Tour early & headed across town last night to catch Taproot. I think my record for consecutive days attending concerts is 8 or 9 when I was in college, but I've never gone to 2 separate shows in different cities on the same day. I guess there is a 1st time for everything.

Smile Empty Soul played right before Taproot. I'd never seen them before. They were pretty cool.

Taproot hit the stage at about 11:30. For the first few songs of their set the crowd was bonkers, but then people spilled drinks all over the floor, so that was pretty much the end of the moshing. No complaints here. I'm too old for that anyway. Taproot was solid as always. I've seen them about 20x now, and I'll go see them every chance I get, even if it means going to 2 shows in 1 day.
