off the top of my head:

Judas Priest - Ram It Down
Megadeth - Tornado Of Souls

I always hear solos that I love, but these two have stuck with me forever.

Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor After six minutes of a really good song he bursts into this.

Not the best quality but I think you all know the solo. I especially love the second part.

Ram it Down was what I thought of when I saw the thread title.

I really dislike solos for the most part, but these have always stuck out to me:

Deicide - Scars of the Crucifix
Vital Remains - Dechristianize

I've always found that Judas Priest is the most consistent band with solos. Dat Painkiller solo =

I always liked that one. Scott Travis's subtle drumwork underneath adds a nice flair to it as well.

Iron Maiden- Hallowed Be Thy Name
Iron Maiden- Powerslave
Iron Maiden- Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Iron Maiden- The Trooper
Megadeth- Tornado of Souls
Megadeth- Looking Down The Cross
Megadeth- My Last Words
Rush- The Trees

90% of Chuck Shculdiner's solos. Say what you will about him selling out Death Metal in his later career, but as a soloist he only got more and more awesome
