Definitely going to the Nashville date...but I'm more excited for Weedeater and Sourvein.

What are some essential Saint Vitus albums? I don't dislike them...just haven't heard much.

Born Too Late and their self-titled album are excellent.

I was hoping for a Southern Lord show again since SV is on the list for SL bands. The only thing I'm kind of worried about it the set time. Just about every free Scion show I've been to, the bands get a short set, usually 30 minutes long. That's been the case for the Glass House shows at least. The only time I've seen a longer set was Death Angel and they played a 90 minute set. I hope SV gets more than 30 minutes.

All the showcases have been 40 minutes for the headliner and 30 minutes for all the other bands.

That's usually been the case for all the Scion show I'v been to. Death Angel just got a full headlining set when they played. Now that I think of it, WITTR played 50 minutes when opened for the Nachtmystium Scion show. I just looked back at the showcase show that Exodus played and they got a an 11 song set, so I'm sure that's more than 40 minutes.

Saint Vitus's headline sets aren't usually very long anyway right? They'll probably get an hour I would imagine.

First time I saw them, they played close to an hour and 30 minutes, but it was just 12 songs. Looking back on my first review here, I went to such an epic show!
