Have you actually seen them since they reunited? They are solid live.

Yeah, I was surprised too. They had time as well, except that they always spend the last five minutes of their sets fucking around with feedback.
They did start five minutes late though due to Iggy & The Stooges running over slightly.

How was the sound for you Andy?
Heard from a few people it was too quiet, which is something that's taken the edge off every show I've seen at Hyde Park. Couldn't make it myself as had the folks visiting this weekend. I'd have caught Skindred aside from those you listed.

Sound was fine for Soundgarden, but yes I agree it was too quiet for everyone else on the main stage before them. My guess would be they didn't want to drown out the shitty little stages that were close by, but after about half an hour of Soungarden's set there was no one else playing.
I watched the first four songs of Skindred's set, but their sound was so poor I couldn't be bothered with the rest and went in search of food. Skindred annoy me though. Massively heavy and bags of groove live, basically an indie band on record.

It's always quiet due to the sound limit. Actually was mentioned in an article in the Evening Standard today...
http://www.standard.co.uk/news/londo...g-7946097.html I found if you weren't near the front sound got drowned out by the "day trippers" chatting through the bands. Worse still when they know the odd song and all you can hear is them singing out of tune.
