Cape Of Our Hero
Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies
Volbeat

I have just started checking out Volbeat, and I'm not exactly sure where they stand in the metal community (whether their a band to hate or love), but I'm starting to dig their stuff.

First two albums: great
Albums 3-5: boring copies
Live: crap

I have listened to a couple of the first two, and they were really good, and I plan on listening to both in full.Wasn't a huge fan of the stuff I listened to off of Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood, but it wasn't horrible. They are about five tracks I really like on Beyond Hell/Above Heaven, but I have to disagree about the latest one though, I really like it.

Lay Your Ghosts To Rest
The Parallax II: Future Sequence
Between the Buried and Me

Revisiting the songs they'll be playing on this upcoming tour. Still not super digging it. I'm sure it'll probably be more enjoyable live as most things are.

The newest is easily the best of the last three, but still crap compared to the first two. Unfortunately most people are approaching the band backwards, which dilutes the perceived originality of the first two, and the detivative-ness of the last three.
