Iron Maiden -- Newark, NJ -- July 2nd, 2012

Not really gonna post a full review, just the set, video, and pictures I took.

My first time seeing Alice Cooper, and I thought he was awesome. He sounded great, the band sounded great, and just the theatrics of his performance were so much fun, he was really good. Also, when he came back out for School's Out, he was wearing a NJ Devils jersey with the name 'Cooper' on it and number 18. Thought that was pretty cool (we were in the Devils' arena).

Maiden, as always, sounded awesome. This is my 5th time seeing Maiden, and honestly, I think Bruce sounded better last night than any other time I'd seen them. The whole band sounded great, everything was spot on. The stage was awesome, the Eddies were great. Another amazing performance by my favorite band.

1. The Black Widow
2. Brutal Planet
3. I'm Eighteen
4. No More Mr. Nice Guy
5. Hey Stoopid
6. Billion Dollar Babies

8. Poison
9. Wicked Young Man
---I Love the Dead excerpt
10. School's Out

!
Yeah, he is a big sports fan. In Charlotte he wore a Carolina Panthers #18 jersey with his name on it, and a Braves jersey in Atlanta with the same #.

He always gets custom "Cooper 18" Jerseys.

I would have bought a Philly Flyers jersey while I was there... if their sports stores didn't suck so bad.

He didn't have a jersey in DC. I expected a Nationals or Redskins one.

I'm just glad Alice didn't cancel. Could easily have done.
