Have you been to Deathfest before? I thought the venue worked perfectly for the festival.

I enjoyed the venue when I went there. The outdoor stages were great, the inside was cool, but waaaaaay too humid (I'm used to being in Seattle )

This is basically the best of all possible outcomes. Sonar was indeed perfect for MDF, glad they're staying there, especially since that means I can just book at the same hotel again.

I'm curious about this hardcore thing though.. unless they do it in the morning, how is it not gonna conflict with anything else?

So happy they're staying at Sonar. That venue worked perfectly for MDF.

Damn, really? I hated the Sonar. Nasum and all the black metal bands sounded like poop. Well, this just means I don't have to waste my money again

I liked the Sonar lots when I was there, so I'm okay with this. 8)

MDF would have lost some of it's magic if it wasn't at the sonar.

i'm really curious of how they're going to have this hardcore/punk thing at another venue and not have them conflict

I actually thought the bands sounded good for the most part, even Nasum. What do expect with grind? It's not exactly easy to mix in live whenever you're dealing with blast beats and grinding guitars/bass, not to mention the vocals.

I was there for #6. Plus about 22 other shows at that venue. It's always been a shit venue.
