Dinosaur Jr: New Album & Tour

Dinosaur Jr today announced they will release their third post-reunion album, the 10-track I Bet on Sky, on Sept. 17 in the U.K. and Sept. 18 in the U.S. and then embark on a 29-date North American tour this fall. The band — J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph — recorded the album earlier this year, and it follows 2007′s Beyond and 2009′s Farm.

After a few sporadic dates this summer, Dino Jr opens its extensive fall tour with a three-night stand in Toronto beginning Sept. 24, then proceeds across the U.S., playing dates through Oct. 27 in Philadelphia. Check out the album’s tracklist and tour dates:

Well, Screaming Females cancelled all shows for the rest of the year, and I don't think I want to see Dino Jr enough to drive all the way to Boston in the middle of winter. Does anyone want to buy my ticket? Face value, maybe a little less.
