Top 10 Favorite Books/Series
Thought this might be fun for some people to think about, since I know a good amount of people read on this forum. I decided to do a top 10 for individual books that I've read, and ranked the book series that I've completed so far. Hoping by end of the summer that I will have finished a couple more.
Individual Books 1. Timeline by Michael Crichton 2. Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy 3. The Stand by Stephen King 4. Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton 5. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown 6. The Firm by John Grisham 7. Clear and Present Danger by Tom Clancy 8. Inferno by Dante Alighieri 9. Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke 10.Angels and Demons by Dan Brown Book Series 1. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin 2. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling 3. The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan 4. Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien 5. The Dark Tower by Stephen King

Top of my head:
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton Shut Your Eyes Tight by John Verdon 'Salem's Lot by Stephen King Only series I've ever read all of so far is 'Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy' by Douglas Adams. But I expect to add 'The Dark Tower' by Stephen King, Ian Rankin's Rebus series, John Verdon's Dave Gurney series, and maybe Noah Boyd's Steve Vail series.

Too hard for my to make a top 10 as I read a pretty wide spectrum of books, but Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy is my favorite series, though I haven't read the 5th installment yet, and am unsure if I ever will.

I have the fifth one, but haven't read it yet. Not entirely sure I agree with people picking up other author's series after their death just for the paycheck (and the same goes for the dead guy's estate too, who presumably approved it), but figured I'd give one a go. Lots of the reviews of it said it's good.
