Van Halen -- San Jose, CA -- June 5th, 2012
Source: Friend in attendance texting me updates.
Any VH fanboy (self admitted, I may add) has had the opportunity to go apeshit on many occasions this tour due to a ton of songs being played that haven't seen the light of day in nearly 30 years. This show saw another classic one dusted off. From the VH II album, Bottoms Up! 1. Unchained 2. Runnin’ With The Devil 3. She’s The Woman 4. Romeo Delight 5. Tattoo 6. Everybody Wants Some!! 7. Somebody Get Me A Doctor 8. China Town 9. Hear About It Later 10. (Oh) Pretty Woman 11. Drum Solo 12. You Really Got Me 13. Bottoms Up! (First time since May 1983) 14. Dance The Night Away 15. I’ll Wait 16. And The Cradle Will Rock… 17. Hot For Teacher 18. Women In Love 19. Beautiful Girls 20. Ice Cream Man 21. Panama 22. Guitar Solo 23. Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love 24. Jump |

Nice... pretty much the same other than Full Bug/Romeo, but I just noticed that Bottoms Up replaced The Trouble With Never. I feel a little jipped.

I really wish they'd do away with I'll Wait & Pretty Woman and put in another new track (preferably As Is) and use the other spot for rotating classics.
I could honestly go the rest of my life without ever hearing those 2 again. Eh, I'm not complaining. I got Hang Em High in Boston, Full Bug in Manchester & Girl Gone Bad on both nights. |

Bottoms Up is a badass addition, the more VHII songs the better I say! But yes, sticking in As Is would be the perfect choice to represent the new record IMO. According to VHND it's been rehearsed, so I'd imagine it could pop up any day.
