The "HELP ME FIND THAT ALBUM" Thread

I know there are a few of us on here that still buy CDs, and some of us that are collectors of teh physical my00sics, so how about a thread dedicated to helping each other find certain CDs/Vinyl/Cassettes that we are having difficulties finding on our own!? Maybe some of us have said CD/Vinyl/Cassette and we are looking to sell/trade it!?

I'm sure this'll fall flat on its face like most of my threads I start, but its worth a shot

Anyone know where I can get a copy of Trollfest's "Villanden" on CD that isn't over $100????

Great thread idea! I'm cheap, so here's my request:

I'm looking for a copy of Twilight Force's "Tales of Ancient Prophecies" for less than $20 shipping inclusive to Canada.

I've been looking for Vaakevandring's EP, but I don't have much hope of getting it.
Also, Without Grief - Deflower at a reasonable price.

Can't test the shipping amounts, but would it really be that much from the US to Canada to take this over $20?

I like it except for the cassette part. They were shit back in the day, they'll always be shit.

If you can't find it in another format that's affordable, I get it. Otherwise don't bother with the shit quality.

I've had a lot of albums that I spent years looking for. And the sad thing is that most times it wasn't worth the wait or the effort. The last one that springs to mind was Old Lady Drivers self-titled album. I looked for that thing for years. I started in the days before the internet was what it is today (1998). Then once streaming and file-sharing became more user-friendly I finally heard it last year, or maybe the year before. And it was such a TERRIBLE album. I was so disappointed that I'd spent well over ten years scouring the earth for that crap. But I was glad that I at least heard it for free on youTube before I spent any money on it.

Some that I'm looking for these days (but not too seriously):
Melvins - Ozma (the version with Gluey Porch Treatments added on)
Havoc Unit - H.I.V.
anything by Bathory, those albums are hard to find and aren't even on eBay a lot of the time (because who would want to sell that shit?)

This is a great thread idea. I don't think anyone will be able to help me, but here's what I've been scouring the earth for for years now:

múm's Summer Make Good 2 X LP, issued by FatCat Records, for under $150

Godspeed You! Black Emperor's F♯ A♯ Infinity LP, issued by Constellation Records (must be hand numbered in the appropriately colored ink and must have the ink transfer on the manilla envelope that holds the inserts to prove its authenticity)

Celtic Frost's Monotheist 2 X LP, issued by Century Media, first pressing on black vinyl

Godspeed You! Black Emperor's All Lights Fucked On The Hairy Amp Drooling cassette, self-released

I think I found most of my Bathory albums in the record stores around here.

Amazon has a few for decent prices.... http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...ywords=bathory

Lately I've just been going to Metal-Archives, clicking on the band, clicking on the album, and then clicking on the side bar that takes you directly to a Ebay or Amazon search.

ALSO, not just for Bathory, but try out ImportCDs. GREAT COMPANY, good prices, fast shipping. Also try out Ominous-Domain. They have great prices on a lot of rare/obscure CDs!

Good luck with that one. That's another one I've been looking for years and my expectations are so high that I'm bound to be disappointed.
