for the record, mc chris hates the term "nerdcore"

I skipped him last time around (well, I saw Opeth instead), but this seems interesting. I've actually kind of grown out of mc chris and I haven't listened to any of his latest stuff, but if it's cheap I might go.

I know, I just consider him Hip Hop honestly. but the term is here to stay.

My favorite Rapper with a really fun band supporting all in the name of being a nerd. it's perfect for me. Although it doesn't say what the venues are, just the dates.

August 10th they are in Minneapolis, but that could honestly mean anything around here.

Would love to see this, too bad it's US only. Had to miss Powerglove last time they were around here and MC Chris would be fun too.

Still says TBA for Minneapolis. My guess is First Ave, but I've been wrong before.

Has anyone else been following the controversy surrounding this tour? For those who don't know, the other night in Philly MC Chris walked out on stage before Powerglove's set and called out a fan for talking shit about Richie Branson on Twitter. He sicked security on this guy and he was kicked out just for saying he didn't like Richie Branson. After being publicly humiliated and kicked out this guy posted his story on reddit and rallied a bunch of people against MC Chris.

Today Mc Chris posted this video on youtube where he apologizes to his fans and cries on camera. It's pretty fucking hard to watch.
