Disappointing that they took out Release from Agony, Invincible Force, Death Trap, and Tormentor.
Still a great set, but I was looking forward to those songs.

And looks like Invincible Force was played a couple days earlier on the tour, maybe their set got cut a little bit at this date? From what I know Destruction never seem to have a consistent set length on a given tour, so I guess you just have to hope that we get the full set. Except they're playing at the Whisky so that's not gonna happen

They were playing Release from Agony on the South American tour a month ago: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/destru...-43de1f17.html
I'm not sure if they had anybody play it with them though. But when you think about it, there are plenty of other songs like that which they still do live. Take "Curse the Gods" for example, which has a good length solo at the end.

Still, at least you got Mad Butcher, Eternal Ban , Life Without Sense , Bestial Invasion and Curse the Gods. ![]() ...aaaaaaannnd this. I'll be in Joliet tonight, but I almost wanted to go a day earlier just to catch this show. I haven't been to Reggie's yet, and it has been a couple of decades (at least) since I've seen Destruction.

The Joliet show got canceled anyway.
Also, I'd like to mention that when Destruction came through last year with Heathen, it was a much, MUCH better show. Last year came close to selling out, if it didn't sell out and Heathen alone are better than Warbringer and Vital Remains. This one was about half to less than 3/4 full and Warbringer and Vital weren't very good. The local support and Destruction kicked ass, though.

From the local bands that were playing on it. Apparently it has something to do with the promoter.
