Awesome show. I know people complain about Behemoth's setlist but they really knocked each song out of the park. Great sound, great light show, great stage presence. And they included most of my favorites like Conquer All, Left Hand ov God, and Chant for Eschaton.

Watain also did really well. I'm not super familiar with their music but had always heard they put on a solid live show and they definitely delivered. I was pleasantly surprised, I must say, that they lacked roadkill (and the smell that goes with it) on stage. My friend was talking to the bartender who said they had attempted to bring some in but management at the venue said "Yeah no thanks".

I was not that impressed with Devil's Blood. They were talented musicians but their 10 minute guitar solos were getting on my nerves. And I don't know if she was having an off night or what, but the singer seemed off key for most of the set. The highlight of their set was actually during sound check when one of their guitar players shredded for a few seconds and a heckler in our part of the balcony yelled "Tasty licks, bro!". We were laughing about that the rest of the night.

I only caught the last few songs of In Solitude. But again, not that impressive. I could see how some people would be into them, some okay riffs, etc, but not really my thing.

Awesome show aside from The Devil's Blood and In Solitude, not into them at all.

It was over just before 11pm.. I believe the show started at 5:30.. this particular venue (The Trocadero) has an 11pm curfew though. I was glad to see Behemoth got their full set in. I've seen bands have to drop a song or two in the past at this venue due to the lame zoning regs.

By the way since Sunday I have downloaded and listened to Watain's last two albums.. I am loving them

They had several designs:
$25 - Black Tee with Watain emblem on the front with a band photo and dates on the back
$25 - Black Tee with band photo and logo on front that says "Beware!" below with nothing on the back
$35 - Grey Baseball Tee with band photo on front with tour dates and info surrounded by a coffin shape on the back

They also had a shirt from the last US tour in 2010 (the statue of liberty with snakes on it) as well as a simple black one that had the Egyptian looking figure stabbing itself in the neck that says "To The Death!" - not sure of the prices on those.

Awesome, I'll probably buy one of these two shirts. Watain band photos are usually pretty epic.
