Alice Cooper abandoning his Halloween-in-London tradition after just three years makes me sad

Welp. I'm not going. $80 a ticket + $18 service fee. No way I'm paying almost $200 to see Alice Cooper. I've seen him 6 times.

Plus, even though I've never sat down for an Alice Cooper show, after the Megadeth fiasco I won't even risk it.

DJ Qbert October 27th in Kansas City

There's only like 3 DJ's I'd ever want to see live but I think DJ Qbert tops that list easily. Holy shit! A fucking turntablism legend!

Damn there's a good chance I might miss out on Sleep at the Troubador in Los angeles. I really don't want my last memory with Sleep to be at that hipster suck fest which was Burgerama fest. God, that show was horrible. The hipster bastards totally ruined what could have been a great show for me. I ended up leaving during the middle of Sleeps set because of how crappy that show was. I believe it was during "Antarticans thawed" is when I left the venue, but hey at least I managed to steal a Sleep shirt on my way out.

Going to see Amonie and Muscle and Marrow tonight. Some post-rock and gothic/doom folk for my soul. Tomorrow night is Boris. Friday is Usnea.

Stealing merch from bands is the such a huge scumbag move, like thats such a dick move, I cant comprehend any self respecting fan doing something like that

maybe if it was Metallica or some shit but as far as I know merch sales are the life blood of small to mid sized metal bands, and thats just a dick more

Sleep merch goes so fast at their shows that it feels like stealing when you actually get to buy one.

When I saw Sleep at Terminal 5 a few years ago the line for merch was ridiculous, never seen one that long at any show before.
