Hard choice, but I have to say Still Life; such a haunting tune and very underrated; such a great performance from the Maiden England video and I am hoping they play it for this summer

For your information, and for every other smart ass that always bring this to me. I give a listen (and do enjoy) plenty of bands but none of them are good enough to make me waste valuable Iron Maiden listening time.

Haven't you see my 101 albums that changed my life thread ?

Cheers !

Why do you keep saying that? It was kinda funny the first time.

Easy! "The Trooper" Because if it weren't for this song I probably wouldn't be into Iron Maiden.

Exactly. When it comes to who you listen to it's about the quality of the bands material not how many bands you listen to. I'll take listening to a couple bands who's material is top notch over listening to 50 other bands who's material is just OK any day.

Quest For Fire and Sun & Steel are the only two down points on an otherwise perfect album. The rest of the songs on the album are as good as Maiden gets. It's a tough choice for me to pick my favorite but i'm going with Where Eagles Dare.

Probably Revelations. WED, To Tame a Land, Trooper, Still Life all come to mind as possibilities though.

edit: I actually like QFF quite a bit but it definitely isn't even close to being the best song on this album.

Where Eagles Dare

That recurring riff at about 1:20 or so...
