Watain -- Seattle, WA -- April 20th, 2012
Watain
Malfeitor Underneath the Cenotaph Reaping Death Stellarvore Total Funeral The Serpent's Chalice No Waters of Ain like I was hoping for, but a great set none the less. Certainly nothing to complain about. Behemoth's set was the same as the rest of the dates on the tour so I won't bother posting it. Both Behemoth and Watain were outstanding!

Watain killed it, best sound El Corazon has ever had.
I got bored during Behemoth

Ok now, that I didn't just wake up, let me revise my review haha.
Showed up just after the local doom band Samothrace finished up. I am not a fan of doom, or this really drawn out style, but I had seen them last summer with YOB and they were very good! I was outside throughout most of The Devil's Blood visiting with people and meeting new people who I had never seen at shows before. Came back in for their last two or three songs, it was definitely not my thing, but still not too bad. I went back outside to hang out and missed In Solitude completely . I did sell some tickets to Marduk/1349 in that time, so WORTH IT.Came back in and got a terrible spot to view Watain from, but goddamn, it was an amazing Watain set. As I previously posted, best sound I had ever heard from a Black Metal band at this venue, I wish they had more space to do what they do, and sadly there was no Watain smell, at all. Next up was Behemoth. I will admit, I have never been a huge Behemoth fan of them, but they put on a great show, even though I was getting bored halfway through. I think having no real good view of the stage caused that boredom. Moonspell Rites and Chant of Ezkaton were huge standouts though! Went outside and passed out some flyers and ran into some awesome drunk people haha.
