40 Watt Sun -- Chicago, IL -- September 24th, 2011
Just realized that I never added this setlist....
The show took place at Reggie's Rock Club and the opening bands were Austaras and Clad In Darkness. Only caught the last 5 minutes of CID's set and from the little that I did see, I don't think I missed that much. Anyway....turnout was very poor. I'm guessing only 75 people and that might be over-estimating. The plus side is that I was able to get right up front. 40 Watt Sun's ( ) set was amazing, albeit short, with Patrick Walker's vocals just oozing raw emotion. The highlight of the evening was Footprints, a tune from Patrick's old band, Warning.Realize (Codeine cover) Restless Open My Eyes Footprints (Warning) ![]() Carry Me Home |

I wish I would have discovered this band sooner. I'd love to see them live...their debut CD is one of the more emotional doom albums I've ever heard and not at all far away from the greatness of Warning. Glad to see the show (despite its attendance) went well!

I wish Patrick would reform Warning

Fuck you for reminding me
"Footprints" would be amazing. I like 40 Watt Sun a lot though so I'm fine with Warning not reforming if I had to choose between them.
