Crowbar -- Hollywood, CA -- April 11th, 2012

The show was at the Whisky in Hollywood and Witchburn and Prong were the openers. I wasn't sure about going to the show due to lack of funds, but ended up going. I walked in the venue a little before 10pm and found my friend at the door. We went inside to see Witchburn playing. They were cool but I don't remember them at all. They ended and I hung out near the bar for a bit until Prong came on. I know they played two new songs and Snap Your Fingers. Crowbar went on sometime after 11 and played for about an hour. It was awesome seeing Crowbar play a headlining show. That sounded heavy as fuck!!! I was right up front the entire time. I think the setlist is a little out of order, but these are the songs they played.

Dude I thought you weren't gonna show up after your post yesterday! I got in right as Witchburn began and just kinda wandered around for the rest of the show. I also just now realized I messed up by wearing a sweater over my Sleep shirt. Sorry about that man, I'm sure we're gonna end up at the same shows in the coming weeks!

Prong was sick as hell, I think I actually liked them better than Crowbar! Tommy Victor is a plain badass onstage. Literally a minute after their set Tommy went to go chill by the merch booth and I chatted with him for a bit- super nice guy! Crowbar was dope as well, but I wish they played for longer. Tommy mentioned that his set was cut short because of the million openers the Whisky had, but it looks like Crowbar's set remained the same. Here's Prong's set, 100% accurate since Tommy okayed it The written setlist for Crowbar should also be correct, it matches the one I jotted down throughout the set.

I realized you would probably think I wasn't going after my last post. I posted around 6 I was going to go but I'm sure you were on your way at that point. If you were near the pit, you probably saw my friend in the orange beanie haha I was hanging out with him most of the night. I was looking for the Sleep jersey but it makes sense you had a sweater on. Next time for sure!
