I'm sure it depends on the bands/cities involved, but some of the comments on this board make me think that this might be true (and I'm of course not biased in any way by being Canadian).

This tour is booked to play an 800-capacity venue in Vancouver and will probably fill it up pretty nicely.

The venue in Calgary holds 500 people and the one in Regina holds just over 230. I don't know how that compares to US cities of similar sizes though, or what the actual turnout will be, but I imagine they will indeed fill up nicely on most of these dates here.

The Toronto venue is about 200-300, one of the smaller venues. But Marduk played their last year and it was full. If you ask me this line-up is a little more solid that then last (I'm not a fan of Aura Noir and no one really knows Black Anvil) so I'm surprised that it's not at a larger venue. But the next biggest is probably the Opera House and it's about 800 capacity. I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason. The place they're playing in Toronto is awesome.

Is this crazy deja-vu? Marduk plays Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 3, 2011, and now they are doing the same venue on the same date one year later.

Norwegian black metallers 1349 have recruited JOB FOR A COWBOY's Jon "The Charn" Rice to sit behind the kit for their upcoming North American tour as the support act for MARDUK.
