NACHTMYSTIUM - Silencing Machine

Chicago-based extremists NACHTMYSTIUM have issued the following update:

“Nachtmystium is in the studio! We're in the middle of our fifth day of tracking. Just completing the drums today for our new full-length album, Silencing Machine, to be released on Century Media Records worldwide on Tuesday, July 31st, 2012. (It will be available on CD/LP/digital) More details about the release as we draw nearer to the release date. We will also be announcing the official tour dates for our upcoming US Midwest mini-tour with KRIEG and MURMUR beginning on July 25th. We will be headlining the first of two nights at the annual underground black metal festival, The Gathering Of Shadows, out in Colorado. The festival dates are July 27th and July 28th. We will headline the night of the 27th, and then we will be playing a headlining show in Denver with the full tour package plus local support on Sunday, July 29th. Venue and ticketing details will be announced when we release the details for the entire tour sometime next week.”

Nachtmystium recently announced that they have signed a worldwide agreement with Century Media Records.

Founding member Blake Judd (vocals, guitars) further comments on the new deal: “We are very excited and honoured to be working with Century Media, a label whom over the years has showcased a ferocious dedication to extreme music. Grave, Tiamat, Samael and countless other bands active in the early 90's were some of the first bands to inspire us endlessly to create our own metal music. We anticipate a great working relationship and hope to embark on a joint ascension to metal superiority together!´”

Nachtmystium are confirmed to play this year’s popular Roadburn Festival on April 13th, followed by a European tour with label mates DARK FORTRESS starting April 17th.

Addicts was a great album, looking forward to what they come with on this one. And a lot of people say that Nachmystium are terrible live but when I saw them opening for Cradle of Filth last year I thought they were awesome. I'd really like to see them in a smaller venue and doing a longer set.

I was talking with Daimonos about this a bunch a couple weeks ago, since he's hung out with the guys from Nachtmystium before. Apparently, they totally changed their sound from Addicts, going straight back to their black metal roots. Should be pretty cool.

Thanks for posting this, I've been yearning for some new Nachtmystium!

EDIT: Just noticed that summer tour with Krieg! Oh shit, that looks good!

Nothing on the album sounds anything remotely similar to As Made,
