Another new track streaming. Do Not Look Down.

Little shorter track. I'm guessing others on here might like this a little bit more than the first track they posted.

Still not terribly impressed... seems like they're coasting with the same sound they had on obZen.

I forgot about checking this out until tonight. Like The Tony, I'm not blown away yet, but I would daresay I like this better than the first track they posted. It is pretty reminiscent of obZen, though. It reminds me of Lethargica...during the mid-section of the track, at least.

Neither one of these is anything special, I hope the rest of the album isn't such a letdown.

For real. You could say every album has been a step into new territory, I'm hoping they're not settling here as "kings of djent"

Oh ye of little faith.

Yes, Catch 33 was a bit of a departure, but obZen was an immediate return to the punishing and brutal Meshuggah we all know and love. It was my AOTY in 2008 for that very reason. I for one see no cause to start panicking just yet. If it sucks, it sucks. I'll admit it, and I'll be sad - but I'm not expecting it to suck. Granted, these two song samples aren't stellar, but still. It's fucking Meshuggah.

tl;dr:

We've already heard 1/5 of the album; the two songs that they wanted us to hear first.

This. Hopefully they can prove me wrong, but my hopes aren't very high for the rest of the record.
